CCT Board of Directors

CCT is managed by a Board of Directors who serve with caring hearts and without compensation.

Our volunteer Board of Directors is comprised of at least two members who are related to an individual with a disability, along with legal and financial professionals, and experts who work in the disabilities field.

Each Board Member serves on one or more of the following Committees:

Executive Committee

Provides leadership to the full Board in fulfilling the Board’s responsibly to establish policies, approve the mission, oversee operations and approve the budget.

Finance/Investment Committee

Presents financial goals to the full Board, monitors the operating budget and establishes a five year business plan. Approves the investment policy implemented by the Trust Company of Virginia (TCVA) and meets quarterly with the investment team of the TCVA to review investment performance.

Marketing Committee

Assists in the development of a marketing strategy to ensure that the organization’s mission is communicated clearly to families, individuals with disabilities, agencies, attorneys, and other professionals.

Disbursement Committee

Assists the Executive Director in making disbursement decisions on behalf of the Beneficiary.

Charitable Fund Award Committee

Oversees CCT’s annual grant program and reviews applications to determine awardees.

Board Development Committee

Identifies, recruits, and recommends new Board members for election to CCT’s Board of Directors. Develops and implements training program for new Board members.
